Cash Acme Heatguard® Temperature Actuated Flow Reducing (TAFR) devices help protect against scalding. The Heatguard® TAFR is an ASSE 1062 approved thermostatic device that reduces water flow through the fixture to .25 gpm if water temperature exceeds 117° F (47° C). It is ideal for new installations or retrofits on lavatory faucets or showers. The Heatguard® TAFR devices use proven thermostatic element technology. Applications for Heatguard® TAFR TAFR devices are almost endless; private and public housing, child care centers, hospitals, hotels/motels, nursing homes and more.
